The school prioritises quality teaching in a high care environment. Our dedicated team of staff use evidence based, whole school approaches to achieve the best possible educational outcomes in all areas. We maintain a strong focus on Literacy and Numeracy. Our students have regularly achieved academic standards that are above ‘like schools’ in many areas as tested by the National Assessment Program: Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN).
Digital Technologies is a priority which is well-resourced throughout the school on both the computer and tablet platforms to support students to live and work successfully in the 21st century. To promote balance between a healthy mind and body, we have an exceptional and varied Physical Education specialist program. Our specialist Italian program is highly regarded and valued in the community.

The school has a highly effective School Board and a very successful Parents and Citizens Association (P & C). In 2023 – 2025 we are in our third independent school business plan.
