Our new School Chaplain, Mrs Florence Yesuraja, started at Spearwood in February 2025. She works at Spearwood two days per week Tuesday 8:30am – 2pm, Wednesday 8:00am – 1:30pm.

The role of the Chaplain is determined by the school with the Chaplain and completing a Local Agreement. The Chaplains role includes working with students at the request of teachers and Parents. A request for School Chaplain support can be completed at the school office.

Programs and Activities

• Engage student with the fun activities to improve life, social and regulation skills.
• Additional practical support for teaching staff in the classroom.
• Breakfast club before school on Wednesday morning.
• Available for one-on-one chats with students, providing a safe and confidential space to support their emotional and social week being.
• Arranging community referrals and resources.
